Resolutions and Letters

In an effort to show support for continued funding of mental health and substance abuse services, the Florida Council for Community Mental Health has been soliciting Resolutions and Letters of Support from all counties, agencies and associations throughout Florida. These resolutions and letters of support ask that the Senate support continuation of current funding levels for mental health and substance abuse services. Legislative Update - Week 4

Lawmakers had another hectic week in Tallahassee where they dealt with the Medicaid Reform, budget, abortion, guns, renewable energy, school nutrition programs, Citizens Property Insurance, and ethics. Both the House and Senate budget committees are expected to approve legislation aimed at erasing a $3.75 billion budget shortfall.
